A leading energy solutions company in Penang is looking for an IT Business Application Analyst to lead the design, configuration, implementation, and support of SAP eWMS solutions. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of hands-on experience with SAP WMS or S/4HANA and a strong background in business process mapping. The IT Business Application Analyst is responsible for leading the design, configuration, implementation, and support of SAP eWMS (Extended Warehouse Management System) solutions.
This role ensures the optimization of warehouse operations, integration with SAP S/4HANA and related business systems, and the delivery of best-in-class warehouse management processes.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Analyze and define business requirements in collaboration with the user community, identifying functionality gaps and recommending best practice solutions. Create process flows and detailed solution designs to support business objectives.
Lead the design, configuration, testing, and training of business processes related to SAP eWMS, S/4HANA warehouse modules, and related business systems, ensuring enhancements and improvements align with organizational goals.
Integrate warehouse automation technologies such as robotics, handhelds, scanners, AGVs/AGRs, and other advanced systems to optimize warehouse operations for efficiency, scalability, and usability.
Collaborate with development teams on RICEFS objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Scripts) to deliver robust and scalable solutions.
Analyze, debug, and maintain SAP and related solutions to ensure correct and efficient operations, supporting both SAP ERP and associated business applications.
Map business processes using tools such as Microsoft Visio, SmartSheet, or equivalent, and prepare functional documentation, test scripts, and end-user training materials.
Participate in project management and team leadership activities, taking responsibility for the completion of individual or team tasks as assigned by the project manager or supervisor.
Perform all work in accordance with defined IT and compliance processes, ensuring adherence to organizational standards and regulatory requirements.
Pursue ongoing training and professional development to enhance knowledge of warehouse management, SAP solutions, and specific business functional areas.
Maintain confidentiality of all information related to the production processes and components, business and other technology including materials.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Primarily works in a fast-paced office environment and a manufacturing environment which may be noisy and fast paced.
Works in a standard office environment and uses general office equipment (telephone, PC, copier, fax machine, etc.).
QUALIFICATION
ESSENTIAL:
Minimum of 10 years of hands‑on experience with SAP WMS (centralized or decentralized) or S/4HANA eWMS.
Demonstrated expertise in the design, configuration, testing, and training of SAP WMS/eWMS modules.
Experience integrating warehouse automation and technology solutions.
Proven track record in supporting SAP ERP systems and associated business applications.
Strong skills in business process mapping and use of process documentation tools.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross‑functional teams.
Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems and deliver innovative solutions.
Proven capability to work productively within a team-oriented and fast‑paced environment.
DESIRABLE:
SAP certifications in WMS/eWMS or related modules.
Experience in project management or team leadership roles.

EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of eight (8) to ten (10) years of experience in clerical work or related filed.
EDUCATION:
Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology and any related field.
Education/knowledge of WMS (warehouse management system), MES (manufacturing execution system) and ERP (Enterprise resource planning) system.
