As a Sports Advisor (Sales), or Sports Advisor as we call it, your role is to ensure all customers leave our stores satisfied. From a friendly welcome to a quick and easy payment process, your goal is to deliver a 5-star shopping experience. Decathlon invests heavily in teammate development, enabling those who want to build careers within the company to thrive.

Responsibilities:

1. To Customers

• Welcome customers professionally
• Ensure customer satisfaction and find suitable solutions for returns, complaints, checkout, etc.
• Know the features and benefits of Decathlon products to recommend appropriate products and services
• Develop relationships with customers both in-store and online
• Pass on sports passion and help customers discover new sports
• Encourage customers to subscribe or register for the loyalty program

2. To Decathlon Malaysia

• Align with department goals and work with the team to achieve them
• Promote innovation and sports experiences in-store
• Increase sales using available resources and tools
• Organize store layout according to guidelines
• Ensure high-quality store presentation based on Customer Satisfaction principles
• Maintain stock accuracy and availability using the replenishment system

3. For Safety of People and Goods

• Enforce safety and security standards
• Know and follow fire safety and evacuation procedures

4. Development and Skills

• Participate in training and develop skills to become a trainer
