Project Management: Lead end-to-end payroll outsourcing projects, including project planning, resource allocation, timeline management, and budget oversight.
Client Coordination: Serve as the primary liaison between payroll outsourcing teams and internal teams, understanding internal payroll outsourcing needs, and ensuring effective communication, collaboration, and support throughout the engagement. Maintain strong client‑vendor relationships, address any concerns or queries promptly, and provide guidance on best practices for payroll outsourcing processes.
Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of payroll specialists, fostering a collaborative environment, and ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing.
Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate payroll processes and systems, identifying areas for enhancement, automation, and standardization to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
Compliance and Reporting: Stay updated on payroll regulations, tax laws, and labor legislations, ensuring compliance and accurate reporting to regulatory bodies.
Issue Resolution: Proactively identify and resolve payroll‑related issues, collaborating with internal teams and clients to implement effective solutions.
Vendor Management: Collaborate with payroll service providers, negotiating contracts, managing relationships, and ensuring service level agreements are met.
Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures, including audits and reviews, to ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and integrity of payroll data and processes.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Project Manager in payroll outsourcing or a similar role.
Proven experience in running Payroll Outsourcing RFP process.
In‑depth knowledge of payroll processing, tax regulations, and labor legislations.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop high‑performing teams.
Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build strong client relationships and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
Proficiency in payroll software and related tools.
Professional certifications such as Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or Project Management Professional (PMP) are advantageous.
