Position summary

We are actively looking for an experienced and Senior HR Manager to lead HR operations for Ad Terra Asia, based in Kuala Lumpur as of April 2026.

This role is focused on practical execution and operational excellence, with a strong emphasis on recruitment, HR administration, compliance, and employee relations. The successful candidate will work closely with local management and Group HQ in Geneva to support day-to-day business needs and the rapid development of energy projects across the region.

Responsibilities
  • Manage all HR operational activities for Ad Terra Asia across the full employee lifecycle
  • Lead end-to-end recruitment, with a strong focus on technical, project, and senior profiles
  • Actively leverage and develop a strong professional network within the Oil & Gas and energy sector
  • Prepare and manage employment contracts, amendments, and HR documentation
  • Coordinate payroll, benefits, visas, and HR administration with external service providers
  • Ensure full compliance with Malaysian labor law and local HR regulations
  • Manage employee relations matters and provide day-to-day HR support to managers
  • Maintain HR records, reporting, and operational HR indicators
  • Support onboarding, offboarding, and workforce coordination
  • Work closely with management on staffing needs and operational priorities
  • Interface with Group HR to ensure alignment of processes and reporting
  • Contribute to the review, alignment, and update of HR policies and internal frameworks (e.g. working hours, time‑off in lieu, leave frameworks), in coordination with relevant stakeholders
  • Ensure HR practices are aligned with company culture and business / operational priorities, in close collaboration with management
Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Attributes
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum 10–15 years of HR experience, with strong exposure to HR operations
  • Experience in Oil & Gas, energy, or industrial environments
  • Proven track record in the recruitment of technical and senior profiles
  • Strong understanding of Malaysian labor law and HR best practices
  • Experience working in dynamic, project‑driven organizations
  • Strong execution capabilities, attention to detail, and sense of ownership
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
  • Professional, reliable, and comfortable operating in a lean organization
