Job summary

Job description

Lead and supervise the entire security team across the estate.

Develop, implement, and monitor security strategies, SOPs, and patrol schedules.

Ensure all security officers adhere strictly to discipline, protocols, and company policies.

Conduct regular security risk assessments within the plantation and staff quarters areas.

Respond to and manage all security incidents, including theft, trespassing, illegal harvesting, sabotage, or industrial disputes.

Liaise with authorities whenever necessary to resolve major incidents.

Compliance & Reporting
  • Prepare timely reports on security incidents, patrol findings, and mitigation actions.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, safety, and internal security guidelines.
  • Oversee gate control, visitor management, and enforcement of access protocols.
  • Monitor plantation boundaries, harvesting zones, storage areas, and transport routes.
  • Implement preventive measures to reduce FFB theft and unauthorized activities.
  • Coordinate security guard for cash transport, sensitive materials, or VIP visits.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Mandatory: Ex-police background (minimum rank: Sergeant or equivalent) with proven field experience.
  • Minimum 5–8 years experience in security management, preferably in plantations, agriculture, or manufacturing sectors.
  • Strong leadership, discipline, and decision‑making skills.
  • Ability to investigate incidents, prepare reports, and coordinate with enforcement agencies.
  • Physically fit with the ability to conduct field inspections and patrols.
  • Good communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
  • Ability to work on‑call and respond to emergencies outside normal working hours.
