Job summary

You will leverage your expertise in reservoir engineering fundamentals and simulation to lead and mentor within a dynamic team. Job description
Key Responsibilities/Requirement
  • Demonstrates strong command of reservoir engineering fundamentals, including PVT, fluid flow, material balance, decline curve analysis, and drive mechanisms, with proven expertise in interpreting well tests such as pressure transient and productivity analyses.
  • Work on consultancy projects, leading reservoir simulation studies, including model building, history matching, and forecasting. Collaborate with cross-domain experts to deliver the integrated field development plan study.
  • Provide technical software support to clients using Petrel RE, Intersect, and Eclipse.
  • Instruct various NExT classes for clients, including public and customized private sessions.
  • Maintain customer relationships through onsite visits, technical presentations, and proactive engagement.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing across teams.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in reservoir engineering with a strong track record in simulation and field development.
  • Proficiency in reservoir dynamic study tools (e.g., ECLIPSE,INTERSECT, Petrel RE, OFM, MBAL, Saphir, etc.) and data analysis.
  • Apply machine learning techniques to enhance reservoir characterization, forecasting, and decision-making.
  • Contribute to Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) evaluations study, including CO₂ injection modeling and storage capacity assessment.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and project management skills.
