Job description

Pride Global is seeking a Recruiter / Recruitment Consultant (Mid/Senior) based in Malaysia to support our growing client delivery needs. In this role, you will be responsible for recruiting high-quality candidates on client projects across various industries and countries within APAC (SEA, China, Japan, Australia).

You will partner closely with internal/external stakeholders, hiring managers, and delivery teams to ensure timely, efficient, and high-quality talent acquisition aligned with client requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment for roles supporting client projects, from intake through offer and onboarding
  • Partner with internal/external stakeholders to understand client requirements, role profiles, and workforce plans
  • Source, screen, and assess candidates using multiple channels (job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, databases, etc.)
  • Conduct candidate interviews and coordinate further interview stages with internal and client stakeholders as required
  • Build and maintain strong talent pipelines for recurring and high-demand skill sets
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle
  • Prepare and extend offers in collaboration with HR and business stakeholders
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the applicant tracking system (ATS)
  • Ensure compliance with local employment laws, company policies, and client requirements
  • Support workforce planning, hiring forecasts, and recruitment reporting
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of recruitment processes and best practices
  • Fluent in Mandarin/Cantonese (the role requires the individual to coordinate with stakeholders from China/HK)
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (preferred)
  • 2–5+ years of experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or agency recruiting
  • Experience recruiting for project-based, contract, or client-assigned roles is highly desirable
  • Experience in hiring Tech and Non-Tech roles
  • Strong sourcing and candidate assessment skills
  • Familiarity with ATS platforms and recruitment tools
  • Knowledge of the Malaysian labor market and hiring practices
  • Knowledge of labor market and hiring practices in the APAC region is a plus
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple requisitions in a fast-paced environment
  • Results-driven and delivery-focused
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across global teams
  • Customer-service mindset with a focus on both candidates and internal stakeholders
