A well-known oil and gas company in Johor, Malaysia is looking for a Payroll Specialist to manage and process monthly payroll accurately and ensure compliance with statutory requirements. Candidates should possess a Diploma/Degree in Accounting or related field and proven experience in payroll processing. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential for this role.

  • Reconcile payroll data and prepare reports for management review.

We are representing a well known oil and gas company and as they are expanding, they are looking for payroll specialist to join the team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process monthly payroll for all employees accurately and on time.
  • Maintain and update payroll records, including new hires, resignations, salary adjustments, and leave deductions.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB, income tax, etc.).
  • Reconcile payroll data and prepare payroll reports for management review.
  • Handle employee queries regarding salary, deductions, and payslips.
  • Coordinate with HR to ensure accurate employee data entry and updates.
  • Manage payroll-related audits and ensure compliance with company policies and government regulations.
  • Liaise with finance on payroll disbursements and reporting.
Requirements
  • Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or related field.
  • Proven experience in payroll processing.
