NQAC Lab Technician Grade 2 (Chemistry Lab)

As a NQAC Lab Technician Grade 2 (Chemistry Lab) at Nestlé Malaysia, you will play a vital role in supporting the company's quality assurance and control processes. Working in our state‑of‑the‑art laboratory in Shah Alam, Selangor, you will be responsible for conducting a range of chemical analyses and tests to ensure the safety and quality of our food products. This is a full‑time position that will contribute directly to Nestlé’s commitment to providing consumers with the highest standards of product quality and safety.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Perform standard and specialised chemical analyses and physical tests on raw materials, packaging, and finished food products
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment according to established protocols and procedures
• Accurately record and interpret test results, and document findings in line with quality management systems
• Assist in the development and validation of new testing methods
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance laboratory operations and efficiency
• Provide technical support and advice to production and quality teams
• Ensure all laboratory activities comply with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations

What We’re Looking For

• Diploma or degree in Chemistry, Food Science, or a related scientific discipline
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a laboratory technician, preferably in the food or beverage industry
• Strong practical skills in analytical chemistry techniques and instrumentation
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with a high degree of accuracy
• Good problem‑solving skills and the ability to think critically
• Proficient in using laboratory information management systems and data analysis software
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
