A leading manufacturer of modular data centers in Johor is seeking an IT Support Specialist to provide day-to-day IT support for factory and project sites. Candidates should have a diploma or bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, along with experience in IT support and network administration. Proficiency in English and Chinese is required, with knowledge of low-voltage systems as an advantage. This role requires travel to office locations in Singapore and Thailand as needed, with a salary of up to RM6,000.

Company Background

A leading manufacturer of prefabricated modular data center solutions, specialize in the data center and power systems industry. With R&D facilities in Shanghai and high-end manufacturing plants in Shanghai and Malaysia, it delivers innovative solutions for hyperscale data center projects globally. The company is located in Johor Bahru, and the actual working location is subject to the project.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day IT support, including hardware, software, network, and user support for the Malaysia factory and project sites.
• Support IT operations for the Singapore office and assist with early-stage IT infrastructure setup for the Thailand factory.
• Track and coordinate low-voltage (ELV) engineering projects at the Thailand factory, Johor Bahru Plant 2, and Johor Bahru Plant 3.
• Coordinate with internal departments, vendors, and contractors to ensure timely progress and proper execution of IT and ELV projects.
• Troubleshoot and resolve IT-related issues to minimize system downtime and operational disruption.
• Assist in IT infrastructure deployment, system configuration, and ongoing maintenance activities.
• Maintain proper documentation for IT support activities, system configurations, and project progress.
• Ensure IT systems and project implementations comply with company standards, policies, and information security requirements.
• Coordinate with internal departments and factory teams to support IT operations and project requirements.
• Coordinate with external vendors, contractors, and service providers related to IT and ELV systems.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience in IT support and basic network administration.
• Knowledge of low-voltage (ELV) systems is an advantage.
• Proficient in English and Chinese (spoken and written).
• Proficiency in Thai language is an added advantage.
• Willing to travel to the Singapore office and Thailand factory when required.

Location: Senai, Johor

Salary Range: Up to RM6k
