Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Architectural Inspector of Works (IOW) to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring the quality, compliance, and timely delivery of our projects. If you are familiar with local construction regulations and adept with technology, including Autodesk Construction Cloud, we’d like to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:
Site Supervision:

Oversee daily construction activities to ensure compliance with architectural drawings, specifications, and approved materials.

Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and identify non-compliance issues.

Quality Assurance:

Verify materials delivered to the site align with project specifications and approved samples.

Perform quality checks during construction to ensure adherence to Malaysia's UBBL and CIDB standards.

Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain detailed site reports, photographic records, and progress updates.

Document and report non-compliance issues, suggesting corrective actions.

Coordination:

Act as a liaison between contractors, consultants, and the project team to resolve site issues.

Attend site meetings and provide technical updates on construction progress.

Compliance Monitoring:

Ensure works comply with safety regulations (OSHA 1994, CIDB Act 520) and local authority requirements.

Utilize Autodesk Construction Cloud or similar platforms for digital documentation and RFI tracking.

Leverage computer tools for efficient reporting and coordination.

Requirements:

Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.

Minimum 3 years of experience in site supervision

Strong understanding of Malaysian construction standards, codes, and regulations.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Autodesk Construction Cloud is a significant advantage.

Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
