A leading catering company in Malaysia is seeking an HR Manager to oversee HR operations, manage payroll, and promote employee engagement. The ideal candidate will have experience in HR operations and compliance with local labor laws. This role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to handle employee relations effectively. Oversee HR operations across all outlets, ensuring compliance with company policies and local labor laws.
Oversee lifecycle for all employees, including recruitment, onboarding, performance reviews and offboarding.
Provide day‑to‑day HR support and guidance to outlet managers to resolve operational HR matters effectively.
Supervise the full payroll process for all employees, ensuring salaries are processed accurately and on time.
Ensure adherence to statutory contributions (e.g., EPF, SOCSO, income tax) and regulatory requirements.
Investigate and resolve any payroll discrepancies in a timely manner.
Handle employee grievances, disciplinary issues and workplace disputes in accordance with labor laws and company policies.
Manage and oversee any IR matters, including investigations, misconduct cases and disputes with employees.
Represent the company in IR‑related negotiations, conciliations or other legal proceedings.
Promote a positive and respectful working environment through proactive employee engagement initiatives.
Lead retention programs and welfare initiatives to enhance staff satisfaction and reduce turnover.
Track and report key HR metrics such as turnover rate, payroll costs and absenteeism to senior leadership.
Analyse data and provide strategic recommendations to improve HR processes and operational efficiency across outlets.
