As a General Technician, your role will involve providing skilled technical support and maintenance services across various areas. You will be responsible for diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment and system issues, conducting repairs, and ensuring the smooth operation of machinery and facilities. This position may require working with different types of equipment, including mechanical, electrical, electronic, and computer systems. The role demands a strong ability to adapt to diverse tasks and environments.
- Facility Management: Perform regular inspection and maintenance of facilities including pest control and repair of simple electrical system.
- Health and Environmental Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and environmental regulations and participate in initiatives to promote eco-friendly practices
- Safety Compliance: Comply with all safety regulations and guidelines while performing tasks, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform regular inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on various equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Troubleshooting: Identify technical problems and faults in equipment, systems, or processes, and effectively troubleshoot to resolve issues promptly.
- Repairs and Upgrades: Carry out repairs, replacements, and upgrades on faulty or outdated equipment components to enhance efficiency and extend their operational life.
- Installation: Assist with the installation and setup of new equipment, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and manufacturer guidelines.
- Record Keeping: Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment status for documentation and future reference.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and track inventory levels of spare parts and supplies. In charge of inventory count.
- Continuous Improvement: Suggest and implement process improvements to enhance equipment performance, reduce downtime, and optimize operational efficiency.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, supervisors, and departments to coordinate tasks, share knowledge, and achieve common goals.
- Warehouse Management: to perform GRN upon receiving goods and safe keep records as per SOP
- Operation Support: Provide support to operation/manufacturing needs such as assembly and rework required.

Qualifications

- Physical dexterity and strength to handle equipment and perform manual tasks.
