A leading garment manufacturing company in Malaysia seeks a General Manager to oversee budgets, drive profitability, and coordinate compliance with local authorities. Applicants should have a degree in Textile Technology or equivalent and substantial experience in garment manufacturing. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills are essential. Develop and oversee budgets, plans and programs to ensure the optimum utilization of available equipment, space, facility and human resource necessary to attain manufacturing objectives.
Drive profitability, create, implement and manage business strategies to achieve the Company’s objectives and to provide continual stimulus to its growth and operational efficiency.
Handle crisis management and tactical plans when necessary
Optimize production capacity to maintain effective inventory arrangement
Leverage synergy with senior management team on company’s strategies development
Coordinate and liaise with local authorities in complying with the national laws and regulations as well as the group’s policies & guidance
Station in SEA region is required
Job Requirements:
Degree Holder in Textile Technology / Clothing or equivalent
Strong solid experience in all-round factory experience in garment manufacturing environment is a MUST
At least 8 years relevant experience in garment manufacturing industry including 3 years at managerial level
Self-motivated, result-oriented and able to work under pressure
Excellent interpersonal skills and strong problem solving skills
Excellent command in both spoken and written English and Chinese including Mandarin
Candidate with less experience will be considered as Assistant General Manager
