Job summary

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate ELV systems in data centre projects.
  • Prepare material take-offs and cost estimates for project delivery.
  • Manage site installation teams ensuring compliance with safety standards.
  • Coordinate with various teams for system integration and handover.
  • Assist in system testing and resolving technical issues on-site.
  • Prepare technical documentation and test reports.

Skills

Requirement
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications, or related field.
  • Good understanding of ELV systems such as CCTV, Access Control, Fire Alarm, PA, BMS, and Network Cabling.
  • Familiar with Malaysian construction and electrical safety regulations.
  • Possess a valid CIDB Green Card.
  • A Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST) license is not required; however, related certification will be an added advantage. Eg, PW4.
  • Registration with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) is not mandatory but will be considered an advantage.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills, able to work effectively with colleagues and contractors from different language backgrounds.
  • Multilingual ability (such as English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Chinese) will be an advantage.
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply — training and mentorship will be provided.
Responsibility
  • Responsible for the supervision, coordination, and technical support of extra-low voltage (ELV) systems in data centre projects, including access control, CCTV, fire alarm, PA, BMS, and structured cabling systems.
  • Prepare material take-offs, cost estimates, and ensure timely, high-quality project delivery.
  • Supervise and manage site installation teams to ensure compliance with safety and technical standards.
  • Coordinate with civil, electrical, mechanical, and HVAC teams to ensure smooth integration and system handover.
  • Assist in system testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting technical issues at site.
  • Prepare technical documentation, test reports, and project handover files.
