Job description

Responsible for the proper and efficient operations and maintenance of electrical & mechanical, air-conditioning, firefighting, compressed air, refrigerator, and other mechanical & electrical appliances.

Able to read electrical schematic drawing to troubleshoot and diagnose electrical & mechanical equipment and carry out corrective action work.

Plan and perform preventive maintenance & reactive/corrective maintenance work to prevent or minimize equipment breakdown and power failures, either through internal teams or subcontractors.

Attend genset switching during power failures or equipment breakdown.

Attend to all power, equipment, and machine failure and rectify accordingly.

Record and take electrical reading daily, substation/MCC room inspection, prepare checklist, and shift report.

To perform any other duty and responsibility as assigned from time to time.

Job Requirement

• Possess a certificate authorized by Suruhanjaya Tenaga (A1/A4/PW or any related certificate).
• Preferably technicians specializing in Maintenance/Repair (Facilities & Machinery) or equivalent.
• Good command of both Bahasa Malaysia & English.
• Comfortable to work on ad hoc breakdown.
• Good personal traits and characteristics, high integrity, trustworthy, reliable and honest.
• Willing to be relocate to Kota Tinggi & work on a shift basis.
