Job summary

A manufacturing company in Kuala Lumpur is looking for a customer service executive to manage customer orders, support sales, and maintain records. The ideal candidate should have at least a diploma and 1 year of relevant experience. Strong communication skills in English and Malay, and preferably in Chinese are essential. This role involves liaising with various departments to ensure customer satisfaction and systematic handling of orders and inquiries.

  • Receive and process customer orders.

Job description

Receiving and processing customer’s orders.

Entertain and provide best customer service to walk in customers.

Issuing sales / confirmation invoices, and packing list.

Liaise with Warehouse Department for goods packing and ensure the packing list return within the timeline.

Verifying Customer’s orders or goods received from Supplier, including customers' personal information and payment details.

Contacting customers by phone or email to answer queries and obtain missing information.

Compiling daily payment collection reports and credit card settlement.

Liaise with account department on daily payment collection including sales through cash, online transfer and credit card.

Expediting orders through internal liaison.

Directing feedback from customers to relevant departments and resolve issue occurred.

Identifying new products to add to those on offer.

Perform appropriate stock count and stock arrangement on weekly basis.

Supporting the sales department with other administrative tasks, if requested.

Maintain up to date historical records including sales, customer, route and discrepancy record.

Develop and maintain systematic filling system.

Assist in verify returned invoices, delivery orders and discrepancy report from Lorry Drivers and ensure all documents with necessarily details.

Maintain strong relationships with vendors and keep price data in order to get the best pricing on supplies and services.

Ad Hoc tasks as assigned by immediate superior or management.

Requirements

Min qualification Diploma / Professional Certificate / Bachelor’s Degree in related field and above

Preferred with at least 1 year relevant experience.

Good knowledge of different business functions.

Strong leadership qualities.

Good communication in English, Malay and preferably in Chinese.
