Job description

As an Apparel Designer (Fast Fashion) at Pearl Gain Sdn Bhd, you responsible for designing trendy, commercially viable T‑shirt collections aligned with fast fashion trends, brand identity, and market demand. Ensures rapid turnaround, efficient production, and cost‑effective design suitable for mass market retail. Blending your creative flair with an understanding of the latest market trends, you will be responsible for designing T‑shirt clothing collections that excite and inspire our customers. This full‑time position is based in our Bandar Sunway Selangor office.

What you’ll be doing

• Research and create T‑shirt concepts, graphics, prints, and silhouettes for seasonal collections that are trend‑driven, cohesive and aligned with the target markets.
• Select fabrics, trims, colours, and printing techniques (screen print, embroidery, beading, puff print, etc.).
• Track global trends, pop culture themes, street style, viral styles, and competitor products.
• Monitor customer preferences and fast‑moving items.
• Ensure fit, print quality, and colour consistency meet brand standards and market trend.
• Work closely and collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams to ensure cohesive and execution efficiency.
• Perform any other duties and responsibilities which the company may assign from time to time.

What we’re looking for

• Diploma or Degree in Fashion Design, Apparel Design, Graphic Design, or related fields.
• Good proficiency in design software like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Excellent creativity with a good sense of fashion, style, basic tech pack, and spec sheet skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Well‑organised, meticulous, trustworthy, and able to perform effectively under pressure.
• A team player with strong initiative and creativity; with good management, interpersonal and communication skills, and able to meet tight deadlines.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment that requires working on more than one project simultaneously.
