Position: Senior Data Analyst

Location: Mexico City (Hybrid – Onsite once a week)

Contract Type: Contractor (Project-based)

Overview:

We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst with strong analytical skills and a business-oriented mindset. This person will be responsible for gathering, interpreting, and visualizing data to support decision-making across various departments. The role requires advanced experience working with large datasets, creating dashboards, and generating actionable insights.

Responsibilities:

• Collect, clean, and transform large data sets from multiple sources.
• Analyze trends, patterns, and performance metrics to support business decisions.
• Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using tools like Power BI or Tableau.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into data requirements.
• Present key findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity through validation and quality checks.
• Document data processes and definitions for cross-functional reference.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or in similar roles.
• Strong command of SQL and data querying techniques.
• Proficiency with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with statistical or analytical tools (Python, R – desirable).
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and present findings effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and business acumen.
• Intermediate to advanced English level.
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or related field.

Nice to Have:

• Experience working with cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Familiarity with data warehousing and ETL processes.
• Knowledge of business domains such as finance, retail, or telecommunications.
