Requirements
- Experience as a product manager in a high-growth company
- Experience working in a B2B SaaS environment, ideally in billing, invoicing, or similar
- Great judgment in making strategic (what to prioritize) and tactical (feature scope) decisions
- Demonstrable, self-driven results that have positively impacted a product's direction
- A strong sense of product design (UX)
- A passion for products that just work, even if the problems they solve are boring and complicated
- Outstanding communication and collaboration skills, including across departments (e.g., business operations, sales) to meet customer and business needs
- Business-level proficiency in written and spoken English
- Bonus: experience working remotely
What the job involves
- This is an exciting opportunity to join Remote as a Senior Product Manager in the Fintech vertical, making a difference in the global employment space
- Lead and develop strategy for a key product area within our Product team
- Work with cross-functional teams of engineering and design to identify key problems and develop iterative solutions
- Build solutions in collaboration with the Billing team
- Own the end-to-end experience, delivering value through services powered by humans and software
- Work autonomously on simple features and iterations, with support for complex problems
- Manage internal expectations regarding timelines, products, and features
- Contribute to tactical and strategic decision-making
- Shape cross-department and cross-team solutions in collaboration with senior product team members
- Create and execute a roadmap for your product area
- Collaborate on long-term strategic plans with stakeholders
- Define a clear strategic vision based on market research and analysis
- Serve as a subject matter expert for your product area
- Support scaling and growth initiatives
- Navigate ambiguity effectively and maintain team focus
- Ship iterative improvements, focusing on minimal solutions
- Lead a product team to deliver consistent results and ROI
- Align work with key business KPIs
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, and stakeholders to solve customer problems
- Communicate and collaborate internally and externally
- Share techniques, processes, and learnings within the Product organization
- Promote the team's work and its impact
- Work asynchronously and transparently
- Work independently on simple features, seeking support for complex issues
- Develop expertise in mobile business problems
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define future directions
