We are currently seeking a Remote UNIX & SQL Production Support Engineer to join our team in Guadalajara, Jalisco (MX-JAL), Mexico (MX).
NTT Data Services is looking for an energetic, fast‑learning, and self‑motivated person with strong technical skills, who can work well with global teams and adopts a consultative approach in this remote position.
Location: Remote
- Actively provide support for resolution of L2 issues with detailed analysis; assist with code fixes and rigorous testing where required.
- Good knowledge of Unix, SQL, and scripting languages.
- Support Product servers and clients on cutting‑edge platforms.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and continuous delivery.
- Continuously focus on enhancing application performance.
- Collaborate effectively with other team members.
- Provide technical feedback and support to Development teams.
- Perform detailed RCA of production issues and implement corrective actions.
- Demonstrate validated collaboration and communication skills, able to lead in a global environment.
- 3+ years of relevant experience in application maintenance and support.
- Unix, SQL, and knowledge of other scripting languages.
- Knowledge of programming languages – preferably Java.
