We are currently seeking a Remote UNIX & SQL Production Support Engineer to join our team in Guadalajara, Jalisco (MX-JAL), Mexico (MX).

NTT Data Services is looking for an energetic, fast‑learning, and self‑motivated person with strong technical skills, who can work well with global teams and adopts a consultative approach in this remote position.

Location: Remote

Activities.

• Actively provide support for resolution of L2 issues with detailed analysis; assist with code fixes and rigorous testing where required.
• Good knowledge of Unix, SQL, and scripting languages.
• Support Product servers and clients on cutting‑edge platforms.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and continuous delivery.
• Continuously focus on enhancing application performance.
• Collaborate effectively with other team members.
• Provide technical feedback and support to Development teams.
• Perform detailed RCA of production issues and implement corrective actions.
• Demonstrate validated collaboration and communication skills, able to lead in a global environment.

Basic Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant experience in application maintenance and support.
• Unix, SQL, and knowledge of other scripting languages.
• Knowledge of programming languages – preferably Java.
