Team Overview

We are looking for a data-driven, analytical User Strategy & Operations Analystwho is passionate about using numbers to solve real-world problems. In this role, you will be joining the team that manages Didi Food Users in Mexicoto analyze data, optimize processes, and support strategic initiatives to acquire new users and improve their experience.

The Mexico User Growth Team balances strategy and execution to reimagine how promotions work in food delivery. On the strategy side, we rethink promotional approaches, build scalable systems and collaborate cross-functionally to improve product and user experiences-always grounded in data. On the execution side, we bring strategy to life, designing the tools, campaigns and features that make promotions more engaging and impactful for restaurants and eaters.

Role Responsibilities
  • Define and monitor key business metrics (KPIs) and create weekly/monthly reports
  • Support decision-making with insights from data analysis and forecasting models
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, customer support, marketing) to align insights with business strategies
  • Contribute to the design and evaluation of operational experiments and A/B tests
  • Collect, clean, and analyze operational and performance data
  • Build dashboards and visual reports using Google Sheets and other visualization tools
  • Write and optimize SQL queries to extract and analyze data from databases
Role Qualifications
  • Graduated from a top university program in Mathematics, Data Analysis, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Curious, detail-oriented, and eager to learn and take initiative
  • Proficient in Google Sheets or Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, macros and charts
  • Familiar with SQL (writing queries and working with relational databases)
  • Understanding of statistics and data analysis techniques

Bonus (nice to have)

  • Experience working with marketplaces
  • Experience with Python (pandas), R, Looker Studio, or data visualization tools
