A leading IT services company is seeking a skilled Mainframe Developer with expertise in COBOL and CICS to design and support Vision Plus applications. This is a fully remote position for residents in Mexico with occasional meetings in CDMX or Guadalajara.

Formación

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Mainframe development with COBOL and CICS.
• Experience with VSAM and DB2 databases.
• Knowledge of Vision Plus is a strong plus.
• Familiarity with Mainframe APIs and integration tools.
• Experience in Agile development environments.
• Advanced English proficiency C1 or C2 level.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and test Vision Plus applications on Mainframe platforms.
• Utilize CICS features including transactions, programs, and maps.
• Maintain and enhance existing COBOL programs.
• Work with Mainframe databases (VSAM, DB2).
• Leverage API connectivity tools like Z/os Connect and API Gateway.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile methodologies.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Mainframe applications.
