ConsumerTrack is a digital marketing, media, content and fintech company that drives brand awareness and audience engagement across our internal web properties and partner sites.

Role

We are seeking a Software Engineer with WordPress experience to build and maintain high‑quality front‑end and back‑end user experiences for a highly customized site with over 10,000 articles reaching millions of monthly users.

Responsibilities
  • Build, extend, maintain and deploy WordPress‑based websites.
  • Create and modify front‑end and back‑end components (themes, plugins, scripts and styles) using PHP, JavaScript and CSS.
  • Monitor, maintain and optimize front‑end and back‑end performance across multiple browsers and devices.
  • Collaborate with designers and stakeholders to interpret wireframes, storyboards, user flows and site maps.
  • Set design guidelines, best practices and standards while meeting deadlines and staying on target.
Qualifications
  • 3 to 4 years of web development experience with WordPress, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript.
  • Experience with AWS services such as S3 and CloudFront (plus).
  • Familiar with Git for version control and command‑line interfaces (Bash).
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices (semantic markup, alt tags, meta tags).
  • Ability to work with APIs and common deployment methodologies (dev→stage→live).
