A leading tire manufacturer in Atlacomulco is hiring a Training Coordinator to manage and develop training processes for employees. The role requires a professional degree in Human Resources or equivalent experience. You will establish training strategies, coordinate updates for new equipment, and assess training needs. Key Responsibilities
  • Establish the plant CSD strategies to ensure alignment with the needs of the business and to ensure that the team members get the needed skills to perform their jobs.
  • Responsible for identifying, developing, supporting, and managing continuing education for the team members efficiently resulting in the best trained, most knowledgeable and most competent workforce.
  • Coordinate training for any updates, new equipment, machines and/or processes accordingly.
  • Support CSD initiatives within the HPTs.
  • Manage the training strategy, development, and deployment of all instructor led and web based training curriculum for plant team members. This includes working in partnership with the Plant Leadership to ensure alignment of training needs.
  • Responsibility for CSD for all team members in the plant, including assessment of needs, development of programs and curriculum, conducting training via appropriate medium (distance learning, instructor‑led classroom, online), coordinating training schedules, providing coaching on selected right skills and assessing and measuring overall CSD effectiveness.
  • Provide in-depth and ongoing awareness of industry and professional training trends as well as marketplace demands. Provide clear and concise training protocols and guidelines to ensure a consistent and focused approach to the learning environment and assure key stakeholders have a deep understanding of the key attributes, skill sets and technical knowledge required to perform at maximum levels at the plant.
  • Coach and support, as needed, the Plant Leadership team and Unit Leaders in any CSD related issue.
  • Identification of CSD needs and then manage/lead projects across business units to deliver enhanced training and system capabilities.

The Training Coordinator will administer the plant’s training process to develop the necessary competencies in personnel, enabling them to perform their work efficiently. They will coordinate training for any updates, new equipment, machines, and/or processes as needed. In addition, the Training Coordinator will be responsible for CSD for all plant members, which includes needs assessment, program and curriculum development, training delivery through appropriate methods (distance learning, instructor‑led classroom sessions, online), scheduling coordination, coaching in specific skills, and evaluating and measuring overall CSD effectiveness.

  • Apply and promote the Quality Policy, Safety and Hygiene Policy, and Psychosocial Risk Factors Policy (NOM 035).
  • Support and ensure compliance with plant and departmental objectives.
  • Understand and promote the Goodyear Production System (GPS) and its pillars.
  • Adhere to internal work regulations and the company’s Code of Conduct.
  • Use and encourage the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) with assigned personnel.
What We’re Looking For
  • Professional degree in Human Resources Administration or related field or equivalent to 5 years of experience in a similar position.
  • 3 to 5+ years of experience as an HR generalist and/or in training, or related/equivalent experience in a large plant (500+ employees).
