What awaits you?

As a Tax Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in executing tax operations and implementing both internal and external processes to ensure compliance with Mexican tax law. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Tax Operations: Execute tax operations and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Transaction Review: Review sales and purchasing transactions for accurate tax classification and record-keeping.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Maintain effective communication and negotiation with company network partners, external advisors (including Tax and Customs Authorities), and business partners.
  • In-House Tax Reviews: Conduct in-house tax reviews and implement necessary corrective actions to enhance compliance processes.
  • Reporting and Monitoring: Report to the local Tax Manager and monitor changes in tax law in Mexico to ensure ongoing compliance.
What should you bring along?
  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, or Accounting.
  • Over 5 years of professional experience in an international consulting firm, law firm, tax department of an international group, or tax authorities.
  • In-depth knowledge of Mexican tax regulations and experience in accounting.
  • Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • A highly motivated individual with strong communication and negotiation skills.
