Job Description Summary

Roles and Responsibilities

• Act as a member in Software Center of Excellence, representing the face of high-quality design and development practices.
• Undertake enhancement and maintenance of GE internal distribution network models, including new devices modeling, new measurements modeling, and SCADA model updates.
• Contribute to reduce customer defects in all ADMS components (DMS, OMS, DNAF) by supporting developers / testers to reproduce and fix customer defects.
• Undertake product development work and customer support work in ADMS modeling solutions with high code quality.
• Undertake large scale DER and smart Inverters modeling, to support performance testing.
• Collaborate with automation testers, DevOps, and developers to deploy new models into automation testing environment.

Education Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Power System or "STEM" Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)
• Demonstrates understanding of mathematical / data modeling.
• Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills, in English and Spanish.
• Able to legally work in Mexico.

Desired Characteristics

• Master's Degree / PhD in Power Systems
• Experience with distribution modeling and distribution power flow.
• Solid programming skills in C++, C# or other related programming languages.
• Knowledge in SCADA, CIM, GIS, CIS, AMI.
