Principal Responsibilities

As a Shipping Warehouse Supervisor at Molex Guadalajara, you will lead and oversee all shipping operations to ensure smooth, timely, and accurate delivery of finished goods and materials. You will drive productivity and process improvements while maintaining inventory accuracy and fostering a well‑trained, motivated shipping team. Your leadership will guarantee the final step of the supply chain meets delivery standards in time, form and quantity.

What You Will Do

• Lead and coordinate shipping operations across shifts, ensuring fluid workflow and adherence to company policies.
• Develop and implement performance metrics to monitor and improve shipping processes and warehouse space utilization.
• Collaborate with Traffic and Customs teams to ensure on‑time delivery to customers.
• Oversee finished goods receiving, put‑away, inventory accuracy, and shipment processes.
• Proactively communicate and resolve any disruptions affecting shipment plans.
• Maintain reliable inventory records through effective system transactions and cycle counts.
• Recruit, train, and motivate shipping warehouse staff, fostering teamwork and professional growth.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of warehouse equipment, including forklifts, docks, and scanning devices.
• Uphold compliance with safety, preventive maintenance, and security protocols.
• Follow up on audit findings and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Manage documentation processes to support accurate shipments.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional algum degree
• Proven experience supervising shipping warehouse operations.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and implement process improvements.
• Proficient with shipping warehouse management software and databases.Strong Excel skills including VLOOKUP, SUMPRODUCT, SUMIF, pivot tables, and charts.
• Familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
• Knowledge of Lean and Visual Management principles.
• Availability to work flexible schedules as needed.
