INFYMEX – Python + SQL Data Engineer

Infosys is seeking Data Engineers with experience in Python and SQL. In this role you will work directly with clients to develop a Data Engineering program that includes building data pipelines and data lake initiatives, executive reporting using dashboards, and defining processes and workflows. You will be part of a culture that encourages teamwork, collaboration, excellence, diversity and inclusion.

Responsibilities

• Build data pipelines and data lake initiatives.

• Develop executive reporting dashboards.

• Define and implement processes and workflow.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution.
• At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology.
• Very good communication skills and English level.

Mandatory Skillsets

• At least 3 years of project experience in Python and SQL.
• Good understanding of ETL concepts.

Good to have

• Experience with Cloud Platforms (AWS or Azure).
• Experience in Big Data ecosystem using Hadoop/Python/Scala/Spark/PySpark packages and libraries for large scale data.
• Experience in working with Azure Databricks or Snowflake.
• Experience in data warehouse using any ETL tool.
• Experience in Unix shell scripting.

Other Relevant Experience

• Experience in software development life cycle.
• Working in an agile environment, works on new systems development and enhancement/maintenance of existing systems.
• Ability to work in team in diverse/multiple stakeholder environment.
• Preferred – Experience in Financial Services, Insurance Domain.
