A leading technology company in Tijuana is seeking a technical support specialist to provide guidance to the sales team and develop a strong understanding of product applications. Responsibilities include building test setups, troubleshooting, and delivering training. The ideal candidate will have strong technical writing and communication skills, be self-motivated, and fluent in English.

Responsabilidades

  • Develop a good understanding of applications for the company's products.
  • Provide expertise to the sales team on technical issues.
  • Build test setups in the laboratory for simulations.
  • Analyze parts returned to find root causes of failure.
  • Deliver training locally and to the sales team.
  • Travel to visit customer sites as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Develop a good understanding about the applications where the company1s products are used
  • Provide guidance and expertise to sales team on technical issues
  • Be able to build test setups in laboratory to simulate customers1s applications
  • Trouble shooting - Analyze parts returned from field with the scope of finding the root cause of failure and follow with possible corrective or improvement actions with local quality department or customer application depending on the nature of failure
  • Deliver training both locally and to the sales team related to product functions and explain the applications where products are commonly used
  • Travelling to visit customer sites will be required according to the business needs in order to understand new customer applications or trouble shooting problematic sites / applic.

  • Ability to work in a team
  • Self-motivated and ability to work on his/her own without constant supervision
  • Fluency in English is a must
  • Any experience in a similar position will be considered as an asset
