Formación

  • 12+ years of experience in financial analysis and/or FP&A, preferably in a global organization.

A Day in Your Life at MKS:

As a Principal Financial Analyst at MKS, you will support our Photonics Solutions Division. You will lead key FP&A activities, including financial analysis, reporting, and forecasting, to support strategic decision-making and operational performance. You collaborate closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams across the globe to deliver actionable insights that enhance business outcomes. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in financial planning and analysis, operations finance, and business strategy, with a proven ability to influence stakeholders and deliver results in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Because most collaboration will be with teams based in the United States, fluency in English—both written and verbal—is essential. Please submit your resume in English.

You Will Make an Impact By:
  • Prepare journal entries and reconciliations for month-end and quarter-end close as needed, ensuring accurate financial statements. Partner with Cost Accounting to validate classifications and maintain completeness and accuracy of financial flows.

  • Compare actual results to budget and forecast, investigate discrepancies, and provide clear explanations along with recommended corrective actions.

  • Deliver timely, insightful ad-hoc financial analysis upon request to support decision-making.

  • Lead or support the annual budget process and periodic forecasts, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business objectives.

  • Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate scenarios and project future performance.

  • Define, monitor, and report key performance indicators to assess financial health and operational efficiency.

  • Prepare clear, actionable financial reports and presentations for senior leadership.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate assumptions and promote financial best practices.

  • Support initiatives such as investment evaluations, pricing strategies, and cost-benefit analyses.

  • Ensure adherence to corporate policies and maintain accuracy and reliability of financial data.

Skills You Bring:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Fiinance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or relevant certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) preferred.

  • 12+ years of experience in financial analysis and/or FP&A, preferably in a global organization.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide strategic insights.

  • Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, Excel, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).

  • Experience with enterprise financial systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Hyperion) and business intelligence tools.

  • Strong business acumen and ability to partner effectively with cross-functional teams, including operations, supply chain, and senior leadership.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey financial insights to non-financial stakeholders.

  • Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal)

  • Self-motivated, pro-active, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
