Formación

• 5+ años de experiencia en manufactura o calidad.
• 2+ años en industrias reguladas con sistemas de gestión de calidad.
• Fluidez en inglés es preferida.

Responsabilidades

• Desarrollar y mantener el plan estratégico de calidad de la planta.
• Gestionar y priorizar recursos, personas y presupuesto.
• Actuar como representante de la gestión para auditorías y certificaciones.

Descripción

Responsible for developing and maintaining plant strategic quality plan and policies. Work with leadership to develop quality objectives and goals that support plant and business objectives.

Accountable for the effective execution of processes carried out by prioritizing and managing people, resources, and budget to accomplish expected requirements and performance.

Engage and provide leadership directions/objectives, coaching, and personal development of quality department personnel to perform to their best ability and meet both personal and plant objectives.

Act as the plant "Management Representative" for certification bodies, customers, and other organizations by hosting related audits and ensuring effective resolution of findings.

Maintain the quality management systems to ensure compliance to ISO, TL and other industry standards and customer expectations.

Respond quickly and effectively to customer complaints and issues. Serve as the customer advocate in the plant.

Ensure that appropriate quality assurance and quality control resources are available to assist in the resolution of technical issues affecting supply of raw materials, in-process and finished goods. Develop, modify, apply, and maintain quality evaluation and control systems and protocols for processing materials from raw materials to finished products.

Work with process and product improvement teams regarding key product attributes to develop appropriate control strategies and feedback loops to achieve low-cost manufacturing, superior quality and service, and improved capability and capacity.

Perfil buscado

A successful Plant Quality Manager should have:

BS degree in engineering or science (Master's preferred)

5+ years of experience in manufacturing, engineering, or quality

2+ years working in regulated industries with quality management systems (ISO, TL, etc.)

Skilled in data-driven decision-making and proactive problem-solving

Proficient in statistical analysis tools (Minitab, JMP, etc.)

Experienced in root cause analysis and engineering solutions

Strong interpersonal skills, able to build relationships across teams and locations

Fluent in English
