To coordinate, execute, and oversee nationwide and international logistics operations under the OSW model, ensuring compliance with timelines, costs, customs regulations, and service standards, as well as the proper management of import operations and regional logistics within Mexico.
Responsibilities
- International Logistics & Imports
- Coordinate import operations (ocean, air, and ground transportation).
- Track international shipments from origin to final destination.
- Coordinate with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and carriers.
- Review and validate foreign trade documentation (commercial invoices, packing lists, BL, AWB, certificates, etc.).
- Ensure compliance with Mexican customs regulations and applicable laws.
- Monitor customs clearance and release times.
- OSW Operations
- Manage end-to-end OSW logistics operations (planning, execution, and control).
- Coordinate logistics providers, warehouses, and transportation.
- Monitor operational KPIs (OTIF, costs, lead times, incidents).
- Identify, manage, and resolve operational issues in a timely manner.
- Nationwide & Regional Logistics (Mexico)
- Coordinate nationwide and regional transportation.
- Optimize distribution routes and logistics costs.
- Supervise deliveries to customers and distribution centers.
- Manage returns and re-shipments when applicable.
- Maintain constant communication with internal and external clients.
- Administrative & Control Functions
- Control and analyze logistics costs.
- Prepare operational and performance reports.
- Negotiate with logistics and transportation providers.
- Maintain and update operational systems and records.
- Support internal and external audits.
Accountabilities
- Ensure the correct execution of nationwide and international logistics operations, including import processes and OSW operations.
- Ensure full compliance with Mexican customs, foreign trade regulations, and internal company policies.
- Coordinate and track shipments from origin to final destination, meeting established timelines and service levels.
- Manage operational relationships with logistics providers, including customs brokers, freight forwarders, carriers, and warehouses.
- Review and validate logistics and foreign trade documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Control and optimize logistics costs in line with the approved budget.
- Monitor, analyze, and report logistics performance indicators (OTIF, lead time, incidents).
- Identify, manage, and resolve operational issues in a timely and effective manner.
- Maintain ongoing communication with internal and external stakeholders regarding shipment and operation status.
- Ensure accurate and timely updates of operational systems and records.

Qualifications and Licencing Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, International Trade.
- 1-2 years of experience in nationwide and international logistics and import operations.
- Knowledge of Mexican customs regulations and Incoterms.
- Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.
- Experience with ERP or WMS systems.
