The Material Productivity Leader (1 year contract) provides strategic direction and is responsible to develop, lead, and execute all the initiatives associated with technical productivity in the plant.
- Initiatives include insource, outsource, change of supplier, quality & value engineering changes, supply base optimization and supply risk mitigation among others.
- Build and support a solid pipeline of projects through new ideas that secure productivity year over year.
- Coach the procurement organization in the project management/agile best practices.
Job Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Establish relations with key stakeholders and lead executive presentations with senior leadership. Communicate results and be accountable for plant productivity financials.
- Drive and ensure project timelines, deliverables, budget, quality, critical activities and other important KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) are within expectations and forecast.
- Lead productivity workshops to increase pipeline of new ideas and business cases for future projects opening.
- Development of solid business cases to mature productivity ideas and convert them into projects.
- Perform risk management to identify and minimize issues in program/project execution, leading discussions and tracking of action plans with proper individuals.
Qualifications
- University / College degree in Industrial Engineering, Business or equivalent. MBA is desirable.
- 3-5 years of experience in Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing or Supply Chain areas.
- +3 years proven experience working in Project Management. PMP certification is desirable.
- Understanding of Manufacturing Processes.
- Experience implementing and leading Agile. Scrum Master Certification is desirable.
- Bilingual in English/Spanish – business proficient (written and oral)
- Proactive, dynamic, self-driven, results oriented.
- Availability to travel Internationally (Valid Passport and USA Visa)

- Ability to interpret engineering specs, drawings, BOM (Bill of Material).
