Position: Marketing Communications Assistant
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the marketing team and multiple contributors and approvers to support project management and organizational needs.
- Interact with staff at all levels of the organization, including executive and senior leadership, business development, project managers, and discipline leads to advance projects.
- Support requests for branded merchandise for employees, including item selection, vendor coordination, and inventory management.
- Gather feedback on store items, assist with special orders for teams and company-wide events.
- Support trade shows: document needs, coordinate collateral and promo items, manage timelines, and streamline processes.
- Serve as a point person to help maximize efficiency for our presence across internal initiatives.
- Provide proactive team support in areas such as public relations, external and internal communications, design, and social media.
- Assist with external website updates and the development of landing pages for promotional campaigns.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, visual communications, or a related field.
- Project management, organizational, and communication skills.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Software proficiency: Microsoft Office tools (intermediate).
- Ability to navigate Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Adobe InDesign (beginner to intermediate); experience with layout using templates and following graphic standards.
- Photoshop (intermediate); editing images and creating content for websites or social media.
- Basic understanding of WordPress or experience editing websites (desirable).
- 1-3 years of related practical experience with a former employer.
- Advanced English level.
