Position Objective

The Junior Buyer will support the Indirect Purchasing function for REHAU Interior Solutions, managing the procurement of indirect materials and services for operations in the United States and Canada. This role is ideal for a professional with 2–3 years of experience who is looking to grow within an international, structured, and collaborative purchasing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the sourcing and purchasing of indirect materials and services (e.g., MRO, IT services, professional services, facilities, logistics, marketing, etc.) for the US and Canada.
• Create and process purchase orders, contracts, and vendor data in SAP.
• Support supplier selection, negotiations, and performance evaluation under the guidance of senior buyers.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to understand purchasing needs and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
• Monitor supplier compliance, pricing, and service levels.
• Assist in cost optimization initiatives and continuous improvement projects within the purchasing function.
• Maintain accurate purchasing documentation and reports.
• Ensure compliance with REHAU’s procurement policies and procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, International Business, Engineering, or related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in indirect purchasing and/or services procurement.
• Advanced business‑level English (written and spoken) is required.
• Experience supporting purchasing activities for multiple regions or countries is a strong plus.
• SAP knowledge or experience is preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, international environment.
• Strong communication skills and a service‑oriented mindset.
