- Oversee plant costing (standard vs. actual), scrap management, and variance analysis, with a strong focus on EMS product costing (BOM, direct labor, SMT/assembly processes, scrap, testing, and logistics).
- Lead FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis), preparing financial projections, profitability models, business scenarios, and translating numbers into strategic decisions for management.
- Drive the budgeting process (annual/monthly), ensuring tracking, control, variance explanation, and alignment between planned vs. actual performance.
- Manage CAPEX/OPEX control, including evaluation, planning, and monitoring of investments in machinery, equipment, new production lines, and technology.
- Prepare financial statements and reports under IFRS standards.
- Ensure compliance with SOX requirements, internal controls, process documentation, testing, and audit support.
- Oversee cash flow management and forecasting, ensuring liquidity and proper control of inflows (collections) and outflows (payments).
- Supervise AP/AR processes, including invoicing, collections, supplier payments, and reconciliations.
- Manage P2P (Procure-to-Pay) cycle: requisition of materials, purchase orders, goods receipt, and supplier payment.
- Ensure compliance with tax, VAT filing, IMSS, and audit requirements, as well as leveraging programs like IMMEX (Imax - custom duty waiver) for fiscal benefits.
- Work closely with operations on process improvements, cost optimization, and financial support for business decisions.
- Lead a small finance team and coordinate with cross-functional areas (operations, supply chain, commercial, HR).
- Report locally to the Plant Manager and functionally to the Finance Director in Asia.
- Utilize SAP S/4Hana for finance, accounting, cost control, P2P, inventory management, and financial reporting.
Perfil buscado
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field (MBA or professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, or CFA highly desirable).
- 6+ years of progressive experience leading finance and accounting teams within manufacturing environments.
- Proven expertise in financial planning, budgeting, cost control, and compliance with IFRS and SOX standards.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (financial modeling, data analysis, automation) and experience with SAP S/4Hana or equivalent ERP systems.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing and developing high-performing finance teams.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and process improvement capabilities with a focus on efficiency and business impact.
- Advanced English communication skills, both written and spoken, with the ability to interact effectively with global stakeholders.
