A leading global solutions provider is seeking an experienced Field Service Technician based in Mexico. The role requires high availability for frequent travel, overseeing the installation and maintenance of advanced food processing systems. Candidates should have experience with complex capital equipment and the ability to interpret mechanical and electrical plans. The position offers the chance to work closely with customers and requires high proficiency in English. This is a critical role with significant responsibilities and travel commitment.

Formación

• Experience as a Field Service Technician with high-value, complex capital equipment.
• Previous work experience in a food processing facility is desirable.
• Proactive, self-driven, able to work independently.

Responsabilidades

• Install and commission new systems ensuring completion within project scope.
• Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical and hydraulic systems.
• Diagnose and repair electrical and control systems including PLC and HMI.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and respond to emergencies.
• Prepare and submit accurate inspection and service reports.
• Act as primary technical contact on-site for customers.
• Supervise and train customer personnel on equipment operation.

Conocimientos

Ability to read and interpret electrical/mechanical CAD drawings

Ability to read and interpret PLC ladder logic

Experience with precision measurement tools

Educación

Associate of Science (AS) or equivalent
