Position Summary

The main responsibility of the EMiP is the direct interface between the Project Procurement Manager (PPM) activities, the Subcontractors, and the Project Execution Team. The EMiP also covers aspects of Quality Assurance and Logistics. The EMiP reports directly to the Project Manager (PM).

Main Responsibilities
  • Prepare internal metrics for project controlling and compile essential information for qualified reporting (e.g., for project team, procurement).
  • Follow and ensure the planning, coordination, and control of logistics activities of subcontractors (capacities, schedules, cost calculation, technology, risk analysis).
  • Prepare necessary documentation and ensure documentation flow with subcontractors.
  • Communicate processing status and divergences via reports, schedules, and handover reports.
  • Ensure receipt of supplier documentation and coordinate document flow.
  • Prepare supplier reports, delivery plans, progress reports, production schedules, and support for declared items.
  • Define communication matrix with subcontractors.
  • Expedite equipment and materials from the main office.
  • Perform supplier manufacturing progress inspections.
  • Validate progress for milestone releases to enable invoicing and conduct forecasts.
  • Organize supplier inspection visits and start-up meetings.
Qualifications
  • Academic Background: Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering.
  • Experience: 8 years in cost controls within construction projects.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Availability to travel and visit suppliers.
