About the role :
Samsara is seeking a highly adaptable motivated and results-driven Executive Assistant. This EA will work directly with two to three VPs within our Legal / Compliance and Workplace departments and will be responsible for executing business-related administrative duties including calendaring, travel, expenses, event planning and ad hoc project management. The ideal candidate is self‑directed, a fast learner capable of managing a varied workload from multiple inputs and can effectively prioritize day‑to‑day tasks against the bigger picture.
In this role you’ll report directly to the VP of Workplace and the VP of Legal / Compliance and be supported by a team of fellow EAs. Your primary responsibility will be to work alongside your executives to provide top‑tier administrative support.
This is a remote / work‑from‑home role open to candidates residing in Mexico.

In this role you will :
- Manage and optimize multiple executive calendars.
- Plan and book complex travel itineraries.
- Manage all work‑related expenses.
- Assist in creating and managing agendas for departmental staff meetings.
- Help organize and plan internal events (off‑sites, team‑building, etc.).
- Be a representative of your executive including meeting coordination, email correspondence and liaising between departments and key stakeholders.
- Anticipate and react to executive requests in an expedient manner.
- Communicate with clarity.
- General administrative duties and ad‑hoc requests as needed.
- Enable teams with tooling and AI solutions.

Minimum requirements for the role :
- Minimum 2-3 years of professional experience, preferably in an office setting, with the ability to fully work remotely.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
- Be a self‑starter and have the ability to organize, multitask and prioritize.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.
- Ability to be resourceful, flexible and proactive with a strong bias to action.
- A strong sense of direction around sensitive scenarios, confidential information.
- Familiarity with tech environments and a strong understanding of how business works.
- Friendly and professional demeanor and is excited about contributing to our team culture.
An ideal candidate also has :
- Experience using G‑Suite, Microsoft Office, Zoom, Expensify, Jira, Netsuite, Slack and AI tools (i.e. ChatGPT, Gemini).
- Familiarity with other tools like Envoy, Tableau, Lucidchart / Spark.
