The ideal candidate will have experience in translating patents, particularly in Electricity, Computer Science, and Mechanics, demonstrating native fluency in Spanish. This freelance opportunity offers remote work with a steady volume of tasks and professional development. Candidates must have a degree in linguistics or translation with at least two years of relevant experience.

OVERVIEW

We are looking for translators with experience in translating patents from English into Spanish (native-level fluency of Spanish) with immediate availability for our patent translation projects.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in translating and proofreading patents, specifically in the field of Electricity, Computer Science and Mechanics.

Main Duties

• Translate patent-related content from English into Spanish, with original meaning conveyed in a manner that is readable and understandable to target audience.
• Follow instructions, for example Translation process, CAT tool usage, etc.
• Communicate effectively and response promptly in English.

Requirements

• Minimum two years' experience translating and reviewing content in the patent fields;
• Native fluency in target language;
• Degree in linguistics, translation or equivalent experience.
• Able to translate, copy edit, and MTPE, QC and LQA
