A leading streaming service is seeking a Marketing Director for Mexico. This role involves leading marketing strategies, managing cross-functional campaigns, and leveraging sports media to drive audience engagement. The ideal candidate will have over 7 years of consumer marketing experience in Mexico, a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, and be bilingual in Spanish and English. This position is based in Mexico City and requires occasional travel.

Formación

  • 7+ years of marketing experience in consumer-facing industries, preferably in entertainment, media, sports, or technology.
  • Demonstrated success in launching or scaling consumer brands in Mexico.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English.

About the Role

Tubi is seeking a Marketing Director, Mexico to lead our consumer marketing efforts, drive audience growth and lead the sales marketing strategy across one of our most strategic international markets. Reporting directly to the Global CMO, this role will shape and execute Tubi’s marketing strategy for Mexico, fostering brand awareness, sales engagement, and viewership among local audiences.

The ideal candidate is an experienced marketing leader with a deep understanding of Mexican culture, entertainment/media trends, and preferably, the sports landscape—particularly the ability to leverage sports to engage diverse audiences, drive viewer growth, and entice advertisers. You’ll work cross-functionally with our U.S., regional teams, and FOX Mexico team to develop culturally relevant campaigns that position Tubi as the go-to free streaming service in Mexico for consumers and advertisers.

This role is based in Mexico City and will require occasional domestic and international travel.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead and localize Tubi’s marketing strategy for Mexico, ensuring alignment with global brand priorities while tailoring campaigns to regional audience insights.
  • Oversee 360° marketing campaigns, including brand, digital, social, partnerships, and experiential activations that grow awareness and engagement among Mexican audiences and advertisers.
  • Leverage the power of sports—in particular women’s football and other culturally relevant sports—to drive acquisition and engagement through paid, owned and content-led initiatives.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with content, growth, and product teams to identify local marketing opportunities and deliver cohesive go-to-market plans.
  • Develop best-in-class sales enablement, content marketing and trade marketing for Mexico in support of channel sales partners.
  • Develop and monitor KPIs, using data-driven insights to optimize marketing performance and maximize ROI across all channels.
Your Background
  • Deep understanding of Mexican media, entertainment, and sports culture—with a proven track record of marketing to mass consumer audiences and working closely with sales organizations.
  • Experience leading integrated marketing campaigns across brand, digital, and experiential channels.
  • Expertise in audience insights, performance measurement, and media optimization.
  • Strong storytelling and creative development skills with an eye for cultural nuance.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with agencies, media partners, and key stakeholders.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills with the ability to work cross-functionally in a global organization.
Basic Requirements
  • 7+ years of marketing experience in consumer-facing industries (entertainment, media, sports, or technology preferred).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • Demonstrated success in launching or scaling consumer brands in Mexico.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English.
  • Impressive references and a portfolio showcasing impactful campaigns.
