A leading engineering firm based in Puebla, Mexico, is seeking an experienced Controls Engineer to design, develop, and maintain control systems for automotive manufacturing. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, at least 5 years of relevant experience, and strong proficiency in Siemens S7 and TIA Portal. Excellent communication skills and a willingness to relocate to the United States are required. This role offers a competitive salary ranging from $800 to $1,000 per year.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, commission, troubleshoot, and maintain control systems for our manufacturing processes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that control systems meet production requirements
• Analyze data and identify opportunities for improvement
• Develop and maintain documentation for control systems, including technical specifications and user manuals
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• At least 5 years of experience in controls engineering, preferably in the automotive manufacturing industry
• Strong proficiency in Siemens S7 Simatic Manager and TIA Portal, commissioning, and troubleshooting
• Experience with Allen Bradley Rockwell, VFDs, and Servos (Siemens, AB, SEW) is a plus
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• English language skills at least C1 level
• Must be willing to relocate to the United States
