What will you be doing?
As a manager in the category, you will be responsible to plan and direct operational, commercial, and human efforts to achieve commercial goals with industry clients. For that, the Manager will be responsible to lead the team to be continuously developing market insights, to prospect for new clients / markets, to grow business relationships, and to drive client satisfaction aiming retention and upsells.
Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for achieving annual commercial target for the category
- Ensure that contracted services are being delivered correctly and on time.
- Development and execution of strategic presentations by understanding all the client business.
- Identify new product and sales opportunities through client engagements.
- Leverage all available Circana resources to maintain existing strategic relationships and to broaden Circana’s reach and exposure to client prospects, influencers, and decision makers.
- Constantly generate category insights by using Circana’s data, external insights, and cross-functional projects to boost all the strategic presentations, client engagements, and prospection conversations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3+ years of experience as an Account Manager or Business Insights Specialist preferably with consumption categories.
- Expert in all MS office products, Excel, PowerPoint, & Word.
- Advanced English.
- Ability to travel (typically 10% - 20%)
- Ability to gather, interpret, synthesize insightful findings from numerous sources, both inside and outside Circana’s data to create actionable recommendations to clients.
- All-star verbal and written communication skills, with a strong ability to communicate cohesive succinct stories with clients with all levels.
- Ability to prepare for and present to individuals and groups
- Desire to learn and discover about the interest categories, with an inquisitive mindset that is always seeking to understand the “why” behind the data.
- Self-starter: takes action to achieve goals beyond expectations.
- Possesses excellent organizational skills. Able to organize tasks; set priorities and develop plans in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
