A leading technology firm is seeking Software Application Engineers to develop solutions in Building Management Systems. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and strong HVAC knowledge. Formación

Overview

What will you do?

We are currently offering opportunities to succeed in the position of Software Application Engineers for Building Management Systems in Mexico, D.F., reporting directly to the Engineering Excellence Centers (EECs) Global Manager.

Responsibilities
  • Understand and interpret sequences of operation, plant schematics, and system architecture to create graphics as per defined standards.
  • Generate plan graphics, equipment graphics, and network layouts in Visio/AutoCAD/other applications.
  • Engineer turnkey solutions around HVAC domain systems and applications such as Air Handling Units, Chiller/Boiler Systems, and variable air volume boxes.
  • Interact with global customers, understand requirements, and translate them into deliverables.
  • Ensure quality, defect-free deliverables, on-time deliveries, and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with global projects and/or global engineering centers (advantage).
  • Have knowledge of BMS protocols like BACnet, LonWorks, Modbus, OPC, and others.
  • Basic electrical engineering concepts and software knowledge to integrate graphics with applications.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Conversational level of English (as a further qualification).
  • HVAC knowledge.
  • Troubleshooting skills.
