Scope of the Role
We’re seeking a UX/UI Designer to lead the design and optimization of the digital customer journey. This role will ensure that the e-commerce platform reflects the brand’s premium identity while delivering an intuitive, high-performing shopping experience. You’ll collaborate with marketing, merchandising, and creative teams to improve site functionality, design user flows, and maintain consistency across all digital touchpoints.
Key Responsibilities
- User Experience & Journey Design
- Audit current site flows and identify friction points and drop-off areas
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups for new features and product pages
- Design intuitive navigation, filtering, and personalized product recommendations
- User Interface & Visual Design
- Ensure visual consistency across desktop and mobile experiences
- Develop UI elements (buttons, icons, layouts, grids) aligned with brand identity
- Integrate storytelling modules, educational content, and testimonials
- Testing & Optimization
- Support A/B testing of layouts, visuals, and UX features
- Monitor KPIs (bounce rate, time on page, add-to-cart, conversion) to guide iterations
- Implement usability testing and gather customer feedback
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with developers to ensure smooth implementation
- Align with marketing, lifecycle, and content teams to support campaigns
- Coordinate with leadership to align design priorities with business goals
Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of experience in UX/UI design, preferably in DTC, e-commerce, or lifestyle brands
- Strong portfolio showcasing web and mobile design projects with performance outcomes
- Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision, or similar tools
- Solid understanding of user-centered design, conversion optimization, and responsive design
- Experience collaborating with developers and working on platforms like Shopify
- Analytical mindset with comfort using data to guide design decisions
- Strong communication skills to present design rationale to creative and business stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in food, nutrition, or wellness brands
- Familiarity with CRO tools and testing methodologies
- Ability to balance brand storytelling with performance goals
- Comfort working in fast-paced, remote environments
- Interest in shaping the future of a mission-driven digital experience
