About the job

The Wallet Development Kit (WDK) Software Engineer contributes to Tether's open-source toolkit for building self-custodial wallet applications on mobile and desktop. This involves designing, implementing, and collaborating to enhance the toolkit. Experience with wallet creation or DeFi is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Innovative Solutions : Contribute to groundbreaking projects using agile methods and new technologies.
• Scalability : Ensure backend responsiveness and real-time performance for growing user bases.
• Security : Maintain high security standards to protect assets and data.

Experience with crypto wallets, modular architecture, complex platform and API development, quick learning, and security practices is required.

Nice to have

• High-Availability : Experience with system reliability practices.
• Additional Skills : Knowledge of Go, Rust, C++, message queues, caches, mobile development (React Native, Flutter, native).
