Job summary

A global leader in transport solutions is looking for a Maintenance Technical Support Engineer in Rome. The role includes providing technical support on Railway Signalling Systems, managing warranty obligations, and coordinating maintenance technicians. Candidates should have a degree in Electronics or Telecommunications and be fluent in Italian. Knowledge of English and key electronic testing tools is essential for this position, offering a chance to impact the future of transportation while supporting customers worldwide.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor/Master degree in Electronics/Electric/Telecommunications Engineering is required.
  • Capable to interpret electric drawings and electronic design principles.
  • Knowledge of major operating systems and net protocols is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Define and implement Maintenance and technical assistance plans.
  • Coordinate and support maintenance technicians on the field.
  • Supervise hardware and software retrofit and upgrade plans.

Skills

Interpret electric drawings
Knowledge of electronic design principles
Knowledge of operating systems (Unix, Windows)
Knowledge of net protocols (TCP/IP)
Capability to use test tools
