Company Description

Synergie Italia Spa, Divisione Consultant, filiale di Sacile, is seeking for a prominent international metalworking company specialized in designing and manufacturing large industrial structures: Buyer - Purchasing Department.

Position

The professional will be responsible for managing supplier relationships, evaluating suppliers, and analyzing prices related to raw material procurement.

Specific responsibilities include:

1. Managing relationships with suppliers to meet performance targets.
2. Onboarding new suppliers and executing phase-out plans.
3. Monitoring productivity action plans.
4. Implementing and managing supply contracts, supporting the supply chain management within the relevant business unit.
5. Interfacing with R&D team to support new product development.
6. Collaborating with Engineering team to identify new components or substitute parts.
7. Working with Quality team to monitor quality and resolve issues.
8. Leading cost reduction projects.
9. Evaluating supplier performance and providing feedback to the purchasing manager.
10. Conducting scouting activities for new suppliers.
11. Negotiating contracts and finalizing deals.
12. Managing supplier evaluation processes: analyzing offers, issuing orders, confirming orders, and final updates.

Requirements

Applicants should have:

1. A diploma and/or degree.
2. At least 3 years of experience in procurement, particularly in the metalworking sector.
3. Good knowledge of mechanical and/or electrical/electronic components.
4. Proficiency in English.
5. Strong skills in MS Office, especially Excel.
6. Familiarity with MRP systems.

Additional qualities that will be appreciated include negotiation skills, problem-solving orientation, ability to collaborate internally, effective communication skills, and discretion in business relations.

Salary and employment terms will be based on skills and experience.

Workplace: Fontanafredda (PN)

Working hours: Full-time, daytime.
